Happy February!

Well it is February 5th already! Wow! Time is already flying! Starting my 5th week of the semester and things are starting to pick up I guess you could say.
Yesterday and Today I had my interviews for the Resident Assistant position. I am nervous now that it is over I just have to wait a week or two before I find out if I got the job or not.  This will be the worst part but i guess I can mentally prepare myself for the result of whether I will get it or not.  I really hate waiting for the answer but I have to have patiences.  I tired my best in the interviews and that is what counts.
I am looking forward to the premier of Glee tomorrow after the Super Bowl.  (I think I watch too much tv...)
My life has been busy but then it has also not been that busy either... I should do more reading than I actually do, but I do the ones that are most important.
Reading break is in 2 weeks and so I must start cracking down on the papers that are due before and after it... Also on the midterms that are around it too... I only have 3 midterms this semester at least! That is wonderful news!
Time is flying by as fast as a hummingbirds wings.  One day I may be blinking my eyes and then POOOF It will be 2013 and I will be getting ready to graduate from University! Such a scary thought especially since I have no idea what I'm going to do with the rest of my life.  God will lead me down the right path though and I just have to put my trust in him to do so.
Well I should really start getting some work done now. Ta Ta For Now!

Oh how Glorious!

WOW! It has been a while since I last blogged... Life has just gotten so busy that I just haven't made the time to do so I suppose.
I just wanted to share what I learned today with the world because it was amazing and so hard to comprehend and I still don't understand it all the way except that I do.
In D-Group tonight Chels read from her devotional book and the first verse that popped up was Philippians 1:20 & 21 which say :
I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death.  For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.
The part that took a while for all of us to comprehend was verse 21: For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.  It was very confusing at first but after reading what my foot notes said in my bible we all understood it better.  What we have to do as Christians is to become like Christ.  We must give what we have up and look toward Heaven as our one goal.  When we die we will gain Heaven and for most of us it is hard to think about dieing because we don't want to leave our loved ones behind.  But we must learn to do so and we will become like Christ and have eternal life from the Grace that he has provided us.
That is what is on my heart tonight after learning this and I now believe that I understand it better than I previously did.

Here is a picture of some moss growing on the side of a wall that had snow stuck to it! God is amazing and His creation shows that he is amazing since he created it!
